If you know any new mother's out there, fresh out of the hospital, one of the best gifts to give a new mother who's just had a c-section is a sarong.
Coming home from the hospital with a c-section, I realized I had nothing practical to wear from the waist down. All my skinny pants wore right along the incision, which was still quite sensitive. All my pregnancy pants, which offered support and pressure to the large belly, also pressed along that sensitive area. Even my old elastic band skirts would need to be hiked up around to just beneath my bra line just to stay on my odd belly, and then they looked ackward.
What I found really worked was a sarong. I would tie the sarong high on my belly, or turn it into a halter top, and seemed to work better than anything else out there.
So if you're thinking of something nice to get your new momma friend, besides a nice steak or fish meal, try bringing them one of our many colorful sarongs.
And double bonus, sarongs also make great swaddling clothes.

The Pure Spirit Discontinues Ecolution Products

It was a difficult decision to make, but The Pure Spirit has discontinued our line of Ecolution Products. Though we loved the spirit of Ecolutions' sustainable clothing, hemp clothing, backpacks and organic cotton, we were running to problems with the distributor and unfortunately had to close down our Ecolution line of clothing.
But fret not, we now carry a very large and colorful line of sarongs and batiks for all occasions.
